SCEM School Academic Committee Student Members (2012)
The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics is seeking Expressions of Interest from students (1 undergraduate, 1 postgraduate) to undertake the role of student member on the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics School Academic Committee (SAC).
The School Academic Committee is a standing committee of Academic Senate that reports to Senate and provides advice to its other standing committees. It monitors and assures the academic quality of the School’s courses and units, approves academic results for coursework units, authorises the conferral of coursework degrees and awards, and makes recommendations about proposals for new or amended courses, unit sets and coursework units. If you are interested in serving the Committee, please complete the Expression opf Interest form available from http://www.scem.uws.edu.au/misc/2012-StudentSACEOI.doc and submit via email to Teresa Cheong (email: t.cheong@uws.edu.au) by close of business Thursday 14th June 2012. Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their submission within 2 weeks of this date. The successful candidates will be invited to the SAC meeting held on Monday 25th June 2012.
